Working with Chris over the last 18 months has provided me with a level of confidence in myself as a hygienist that I had never felt before. Chris works tirelessly to not only make sure that I know both my value and worth but also to show me that I am capable of accomplishing anything I set my mind to.

I realized through working with Chris that I set my own limits in life and in my career and I can either let those limits hold me back or I can open myself up to the endless possibilities for my patients and their care. This outlook has completely changed my perspective in approaching patient care on both the day-to-day basis, and the long-term. 

Initially, the biggest challenge in our office was getting all hygienists on the same page. With such a large staff and multiple hygienists working different days, we would run into communication issues and misunderstandings. Chris’ support and coaching were so crucial for many reasons: to ask specific questions about day-to-day operations; role-play to practice verbiage with patients; discuss challenging issues that arise in the practice; brainstorming ideas to help the practice run smoother and improve overall patient experiences, etc. Chris was able to support us in getting the entire hygiene team (and the whole office for that matter) on the same page and working together. 

For me personally, my Ah-ha moment was when I decided to stop resisting the change that was being implemented. The changes were a bit scary, uncomfortable, and different from how our practice had previously been running – and out of fear, I pushed back and resisted. Once I let go of my fears, I feel like a wave washed over me and my patients not only trusted me more with their care but also saw the value in it too.

I would recommend to open yourself up fully and wholly to the opportunity of working with Chris. She is so passionate about what she does and she really cares about you being a successful hygienist in your practice and also successful in life. Chris is supportive and positive and does what she can to help provide the best opportunities for you to give your patients what they need. I have learned so much from her over the last year and a half and her appetite for knowledge is very contagious.
